Croatian Football Federation fined 30,000 euros

The European football governing body UEFA has fined the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) EUR30,000 for incidents caused by Croatian fans during the match with Spain, UEFA reported on Tuesday.

Croatia was fined because its fans threw flares into the field and displayed racist insignia. The HNS was also fined EUR25,000 because Croatian supporters caused incidents during the match with Ireland and EUR80,000 because Croatian fans had shouted racist insults during the match with Italy.
